An historic map from 1657 painted by Dutch explorers from East India Company VOC names a bay near a greater rivers ocean mouth NASSOU with the add "wen-bay" or "oren-bay". The only river coincident with the painted rivers dimensions on the map for the correspondent coast sector is the HANJIANG River.
